Our First Year

Wow! I can’t quite believe how quickly time has flown by. Our first year anniversary has been and gone and what a whirlwind of a year it has been. I can’t thank everyone enough for the support I have received during my first year, it has been overwhelming. All of the lovely brides and bridesmaid who have walked through the door – THANK YOU!

Since opening La Môr we have helped over a 100 brides and bridesmaids find their perfect gown and we are so over the moon for these lovely ladies. It is such a pleasure helping each and every person find a dress which makes them smile from ear to ear. I never thought I could get anymore obsessed with weddings, but I have even surprised myself. It makes my day being able to be a part of each bride’s wedding experience, and hearing all of their wedding planning details makes me just as excited for them as they are!

I would not have been able to do any of this without the support of my family and my partner Jac. Both Jac and my dad spent countless hours in the beginning making sure that La Môr looked as fabulous as possible, and they did not disappoint. The fabulous cabinet you see when you first walk in was brought back from the grave by Jac, spending countless hours and gaining many splinters.

Not forgetting about the most fabulous unpaid volunteer there is, my mum, Hazel. She has been with me every step of the way and works just as hard as me to make sure that every person who comes through the door has a positive experience. She has gone above and beyond and continues to do so everyday (thanks mum!).

The past year has been better than I could have ever dreamed and the shop is growing everyday. Because of the fabulous support I have received the shop is always evolving and new pieces are being introduced regularly. Eeeeeeek!

Again, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of my past and present La Môr brides and bridesmaids and WELCOME to all of our future brides and bridesmaids. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the LM Family!
